The Colorado Music Festival was founded in 1976 and aims to educate, entertain and challenge audiences of all ages through the presentation of classical music performed by amazing professional musicians from around the world. This festival is held annually at the historic Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder. Under the supervision of Music Director Michael Christie, the Colorado Music Festival draws nearly 20,000 people each season integrating world music with the "most beloved" classical music repertoire. The Colorado Music Festival has earned ten ASCAP awards for "Adventuresome Programming of Contemporary Music."

Rocky Mountain National Park was established in 1915 and is a living showcase of the Rocky Mountains. With elevations ranging from 8,000 feet in the lower valleys to 14,259 feet at the tumultuous tops of Longs Peak, visitors can partake in the grandeur that is the Rocky Mountains. Various wild animals inhabit the park including elk, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep, black bears, coyotes, cougars, eagles, hawks and other smaller animals. In the summertime, the park blooms with lush meadows and wildflowers. Hikers, backpackers and horseback riders can explore over 359 miles of trail while fly fishers, bird watchers and photographers will also find plenty to entertain them. During the winter, snowshoers and cross country skiers can revel in the snow covered meadows and forests. Rocky Mountain National Park has some adventure for everyone.
